• Saturday, March 13: The Blue Creek Band will perform at La Costa Coffee Roasting (6965 El Camino Real in Carlsbad) 7:00-10:00 PM. Call 760-438-8160 for more info.
• Friday, March 19: Bill Evans and Megan Lynch will perform at AMSD Concerts (4650 Mansfield Street, Normal Heights) at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday-Sunday, March 20-21: The Old Town Temecula Bluegrass Festival will feature performances by Bluegrass Etc., The Alan Munde Gazette, Lonesome Otis, The Silverado Bluegrass Band, Sligo Rags, Gone Tomorrow, The Bluegrass Brethren and other bands. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission for all day concerts. Saturday evening (7:00 p.m.) concert with The Alan Munde Gazette and Bluegrass Etc. is $15 and the Sunday afternoon (3:00 p.m.) concert with the Alan Munde Gazette and Sligo Rags is $5.00. • Sunday, March 21: The Gibson Brothers will appear at the Del Mar Powerhouse (1568 Coast Blvd., Del Mar) at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Del Mar Foundation and the San Diego Bluegrass Society. For tickets and information visit http://delmarfoundation.org/.
• Saturday, April 10: Bluegrass Day at the Carlsbad Flower Fields from noon to 4 p.m. featuring local bluegrass bands on stage with 50 acres of flowers. (5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad). For information on admission charges, call 760-431-0352.
• Saturday, April 17: Houston Jones (Americana/Folk/Bluegrass) will perform at AMSD Concerts (4650 Mansfield Street, Normal Heights) at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, April 17: Bluegrass Etc. will perform at AMSD Concerts (4650 Mansfield Street, Normal Heights) at 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25: The Stagecoach Country Music Festival will feature bluegrass from Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, The Steeldrivers and dozens of country stars. Located in the Coachella Valley near Indio, CA. Check their website for tickets and more info.
• Tuesday, June 1: Crooked Still will perform for AMSD Concerts (4650 Mansfield Street, Normal Heights) at 7:30 p.m.
• Friday-Sunday, June 18-20: Huck Finn's Jubilee will feature the Steep Canyon Rangers, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, The Traveling McCourys, Nathan McEwen and Scott Gates, Sierra Hull and many other bluegrass bands and special events. REGULAR MONTHLY BLUEGRASS NIGHTS IN SAN DIEGO!

• 1st Tuesday of the month:  The North County Bluegrass and Folk Club presents bluegrass at Round Table Pizza, Ash and Washington in Escondido. 7-10 p.m.
• 2nd Tuesday of the month: The San Diego Bluegrass Society holds an open mike and jam at Fuddruckers/La Mesa (Grossmont Shopping Center) 6:30-9 p.m.  
• 3rd Tuesday of the month: The San Diego Bluegrass Society holds an open mike and jam at Old Time Music (2852 University Avenue in North Park) from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.
• 4th Tuesday of the month: The San Diego Bluegrass Society presents bluegrass at Boll Weevil Restaurant (9330 Clairemont Mesa Blvd) in San Diego, 6:30-9 p.m.

Regular monthly events are free and open to the public.
