• Friday, September 10: The Crystal Ridge Bluegrass Band from Tucson Arizona will be playing at the Wynola Pizza Express near Julian from 6 to 9 PM. Call (760) 765-1004 for more information.
• Saturday, September 11: Chris Stuart will be conducting a bluegrass rhythm guitar and songwriting workshop at Old Time Music (2852 University Avenue) from 10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. For more information call (619) 280-9035.
• Sunday, September 19: The Hill Country Bluegrass Band will lead a traditional bluegrass-style worship service at Hill Country Community Church in Lakeside (9850 Lakeview Rd), 10:00 a.m. For more info, call 619-334-7464 or 619-820-3956.
• Saturday, September 25: The Santee Wine and Bluegrass Festival will feature wine and beer tasting, food sampling, a silent auctioin plus bluegrass music from Gone Tomorrow and other bands at the Town Center Community Park (Riverwalk and Park Center Drive, Santee) from 5 to 9:30 p.m. This is a fund raiser for the Santee Park and Recreation Department to benefit youth and senior activities. • Friday-Saturday, November 12-14: The 31st Annual Four Corner States Bluegrass Festival in Wickenburg, Arizona will feature Melvin Goins and Windy Mountain, Lonesome Otis, The Blue Canyon Boys and banjo/fiddle/guitar/mandolin contests for all ages. REGULAR MONTHLY BLUEGRASS NIGHTS IN SAN DIEGO!

• 1st Tuesday of the month:  The North County Bluegrass and Folk Club presents bluegrass at Round Table Pizza, Ash and Washington in Escondido. 7-10 p.m.
• 2nd Tuesday of the month: The San Diego Bluegrass Society holds an open mike and jam at Fuddruckers/La Mesa (Grossmont Shopping Center) 6:30-9 p.m.  
• 3rd Tuesday of the month: The San Diego Bluegrass Society holds an open mike and jam at Old Time Music (2852 University Avenue in North Park) from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.
• 4th Tuesday of the month: The San Diego Bluegrass Society presents bluegrass at Boll Weevil Restaurant (9330 Clairemont Mesa Blvd) in San Diego, 6:30-9 p.m.

Regular monthly events are free and open to the public.
